Steps for using your vertical steamer
1. Put the steamer together
Fit the rod and attach the hanger to hang up your clothes. Make sure all the parts are securely in place: precise assembly ensures safe and efficient use. Insert the steam hose into the base and attach the diffuser head to the shaft.
2. Fill the tank
Our vertical steamers are fitted with a removable tank: at this point you should remove it, then fill it with tap water. Next, reinsert the tank into the appliance, making sure that it clicks into place to prevent any leaks.
3. Switch the steamer on
Plug in the appliance. Press the power button. Some models have a variable switch; choose the right output for your fabric. Wait for the appliance to heat up – this usually takes between a minute and a minute and a half, depending on the model.
4. Use the steamer
Hang your clothes on the hanger provided. Point the diffuser head at the fabric and hold it close to the garment for optimum smoothing. Use slow vertical movements, the hot steam will relax the fibres and gently remove creases.
