Steps for using your SteamCube
1. Assemble the SteamCube
Insert the different parts of the steamer into their respective slots, following the instructions in the user manual. Make sure that each part is securely fastened to ensure your SteamCube operates correctly.
2. Fill the tank
To prolong the life of your steamer, fill the tank with 50% tap water and 50% demineralised water. This mixture limits limescale deposits while ensuring powerful steam production. Then slide the tank into the appliance until the "water droplet" light goes out, indicating that it is correctly in place.
3. Start-up and choice of steam modes
Plug in your steamer, then switch it on by pressing the start button. The SteamCube heats up quickly and will be ready to use in less than a minute and a half.
The SteamCube has four steam power levels. For thick fabrics such as cotton or linen, select a high level. For delicate fabrics, choose a gentler steam mode to avoid damaging their fibres.
4. Vertical steaming
Hang your garment on the built-in hanger and pass the steamer up and down, keeping the steam head in close contact with the fabric. This method is ideal for hanging clothes and allows you to quickly remove wrinkles from thick or delicate fabrics without damaging them.
5. Horizontal steam ironing on ironing board
Place the item of clothing on an ironing board and apply the steam head to the fabric as you would with a conventional iron.
For the best results, activate the steam mode to reinforce the steam action and obtain results similar to ironing: this is particularly useful for shirts, trousers or jackets.
